Conventional medical treatment ineffective . . .
Modern medicine would have you believe that heart disease is declining and advances such as by pass surgery and drug therapy are winning the battle. Nothing could be further from the truth! The federal government spent 24 million in tax dollars on the Coronary Artery Surgery Study. The results are frightening. When by pass surgery is compared to nutrition and lifestyle changes, the study found, "Surgery conferred no advantage at all, neither in longevity nor in the incidence of future heart attacks." Drugs are just as bad. Prescription drugs kill more than 130,000 Americans a year. Common side effects of medications for cardiovascular disease include, increases in cancer, liver disease, heart disease (the very thing it is trying to prevent), and sudden death. High blood pressure medication is a 10 billion-dollar industry. Over half of the prescriptions are for mild to moderate high blood pressure. The Multiple Risk Factor Intervention Trial (MRFIT) showed that there was no benefit in blood pressure lowering medication in mild to moderate hypertension (high blood pressure). If, however, the drug companies followed this medical research, they would stand to lose five billion-dollars a year. Other studies show that when medications are used, heart disease is increased. Again, the drug treatment causes the very thing that it is trying to prevent. All diuretics including, Furosemide (Lasix is the most widely prescribed diuretic) has been shown to cause thiamine (B-1) deficiency. This can lead to "wet beriberi" which causes sodium retention, dilation of blood vessels and heart failure. There are more than 30 million prescriptions per year for cholesterol lowering drugs. No long- term studies have shown these drugs to increase life span. Cholesterol lowering drugs are highly carcinogenic. The FDA ignored the scientists from the Endrocrinologic and Metabolic Drugs Advisory Council who recommended six votes to three not to approve lovastatin (Mevacor) and gemfibrozil (Lopid) due to their high risk of causing cancer. (These scientists also did not know of any drug approved for long term prophylactic use that was carcinogenic at such comparatively low doses when tested on animals). Nevertheless, the FDA approved Lopid and Mevacor, now, the two most popular cholesterol lowering drugs. Liver toxicity is also a major health concern, as is muscle weakness and/or damage when using cholesterol lowering drugs. Yet, when there are billions of dollars in drug profits to be made on questionable and dangerous drugs, the powerful drug companies win and you the health consumer, lose. Millions of Americans jeopardize their health with dangerous prescription drugs when natural nutrients are far superior and have no deadly side effects. The HeartLifePlus formula is designed to replace the bodies missing nutrients so that heart disease is stopped and reversed. (If you don’t take care of the cause, you are only treating the symptoms.)
